ThankYou Rewards Now Has $100 Gift Cards for 10,000 Points

February 21, 2011 in Personal Finance

Citi’s ThankYou Network rewards program is currently selling $100 gift cards for 10,000. This is huge, particularly if you have a Citi Forward credit card for the possible 5% redemption opportunity, but any card that uses the ThankYou program can benefit as well.

Nearly all of the gift cards offered on the ThankYou site are available for the $100/10,000 pricing, minus a couple of random ones:

Banana Republic
Fandango
Citi Prepaid card
HomeGoods
iTunes

(remember, these are excluded gift cards)

That leaves quite a number of store gift cards to choose from. The trick here is to pick a store where you’d normally shop to maximize your rewards. Good candidates are Walmart, Lowes/Home Depot, Sunoco, Sears, Bed Bath & Beyond, and (maybe) Best Buy.
